Message areas like the exhaust. Stainless gets hot and then brittle. And the next time you have to remove them if the nut picks up a thread and jams, they really suck to remove.

When they are stuck, stainless will take a lot more effort to break than the zinc coated bolts. And in that case, you want them to break so you can get the thing apart.

Maybe other have had similar experiences?
